Specific Opportunities: Postal Food Drive Every year the Mansfield Postal Service runs a food drive where people can leave items of food in their mailboxes to be picked up by the postal workers as they make their mail rounds. This food goes to the town Food Pantry, where it is used to sustain numerous families from the town who may not be able to meet their needs on their own terms. The food pantry needs help weighing, sorting, and storing the collected food. The event will take place on Saturday, May 10th, between 1pm and 6pm. Volunteers can come any time between 1 and 6. For further information on the Postal Drive, feel free to contact Mrs. Kristine Copley of the food pantry at 508-339-0311 or you can contact us.
